The football tie-in shares insignia from both brands: adidas’ three stripes and BAPE’s STA logo sit on asymmetrical sides. This time the branding is coloured green to signify the grassy fields the Samba originated on – but the average Joe and Joan will probably see it as a nod to matcha.
