An homage to the frames worn by adventurers of bygone eras, Akoni's Solis frame brings together vintage inspiration with cutting-edge artisan craftsmanship.
Solis combines both of Akoni's core materials produced in Japan—titanium and acetate. The metal forms a skeleton of the frame, whilst fine acetate surrounds extending past the frame's form to mimic the shielding of vintage navigator silhouettes. The lightweight-yet-strong titanium temple hinges also carry a functional feature—set screws allow for incremental adjustment to the temple arm length for a perfect fit.
Each pair comes housed in a custom aluminium case with additional full-grain leather soft case and polishing cloth.
